The Village of Bald Head Island is located just 2 miles off the southern coast of North Carolina near historic Southport. It's accessible only by passenger ferry or private boat. This island way of life has a relaxed easy-going pace where your only means of travel around the island is by bike, golf cart or your own two feet. This scenic island is home to NC’s oldest light house, Old Baldy and is also home to a sanctuary for loggerhead turtles.
